The UCLA Asia Institute and Director R. Bin Wong invite UCLA faculty and departments to submit proposals to host visiting scholars from Academia Sinica, the premier research institute in Taiwan, for short-term visits to teach or co-teach in courses at UCLA during the 2016–17 academic year. Applications for fall should be submitted by June 30, 2016, and proposals for the year will be accepted on a rolling basis thereafter, though sponsoring faculty are strongly encouraged to apply early.
