The Latin American Institute (LAI) is pleased to announce the call for proposals for the 2018 UCLA Faculty Research Grants. Awards support UCLA professors conducting research on or off campus over the summer or during the academic year.
These grants are not available to applicants who have received funds of an equal or larger amount from another source for the same project. Awards will be announced in May 2018 and funds will become available June 1st, 2018. Funds must be spent by June 30, 2019.
Required documents: Project Proposal, CV, and an itemized budget.
Faculty members who received a Faculty Research Grant for 2017-2018 are not eligible to apply for the 2018-2019 grant.
Funds may not be used to hire research assistants or any other payroll expenses.
