2019-20 UCLA Taiwan Studies Lectureship Graduate Research Fellowships
Through a grant from the Taiwan Ministry of Education, the UCLA Asia Pacific Center offers awards of up to $7,000 to UCLA graduate students for pre-dissertation or dissertation-level research in Taiwan. Students from any discipline may apply, but research must incorporate topics or methodologies of the humanities, social or behavioral sciences. Applications will be accepted each quarter and should be submitted to the UCLA Asia Pacific Center by the posted deadlines. Graduate student applicants must be current UCLA students in good standing with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Each application must be accompanied by a proposal of 2-3 pages in length, an unofficial UCLA transcript, CV, budget, and one UCLA faculty letter of recommendation. Proposals should identify an institution or scholar in Taiwan who will host you; it is recommended but not required that you upload a letter of endorsement from that institution or scholar. Include the dates of your proposed travel. Please refer to the announcement for more details: http://www.international.ucla.edu/apc/article/146536.
